Grunge

As the days at the library get longer, I'm trying to tell myself that my new unkempt appearance can be passed off as grunge revival rather than simply looking like I haven't got time to wash my hair (which I haven't!). I'm not sure how convincing it is though - I don't think Kate needs to worry about me stealing her crown anytime soon.

Here's some nice, dirty grunge inspiration to make me feel less guilty about being ridiculously low maintenance for a week or two...

All grunge icons in their own respect. Raid your boyfriend's wardrobe for oversized, washed out band tees, rock the leather, don't worry about ladders in your tights, go overboard and smudgy with the eyeliner and VOILA, you too can be a grunge queen.

P.S. I'm trying to grow out my fringe - does anyone have any tips?

    Wow, the girl on the 3rd picture is sooo gorgeous. That's what I call sexy.
    This style is great, though most of the times when I smudge my eyeliner on purpose, people ask me if I'm alright and I actually look like a whore. So it's not working for me I guess :) xo

    No one does grunge quite like Kate. She manages to pull it off so so well!

    Yes I know what you mean about laddering! I can only wear those tights once and then I have to throw them away because I get a huge ladder in them. Good job they are only from Primark. I actually fell over on the way walking to the Indian so had to sit through NYE looking like a skank haha! I actually want a pair of Henry Holland tights but am too scared to wear them incase I ruin them. £12 is a lot of money to just wear them once!

    Sorry that turned into a bit of an essay!
